Born in Ścinawa, Poland, Karolina Pelc is an interdisciplinary artist currently based in Vancouver. Intertwined with repeated themes of humor, cynicism, existentialism, and banality, she focuses on the subjects that make us alike: emotions, sex, love, loneliness, fear, and beauty.
